Bass Plus

Privacy, in plain language.

This policy explains how CliDeck LLC, an Illinois company in the United States, handles information for Bass Plus and this website. Questions and requests: [email protected].

1. Audio processing on your Mac

Bass Plus processes the audio signal in your Mac’s working memory. It does not save audio recordings to files or send audio to the developer or our servers. The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

2. Microphone activity and browser automation

Automatic pause reads the activity of input audio processes through Core Audio. It does not record the microphone or recognize the content of your speech.

With your permission, Apple Events ask your selected browser to run media-control code bundled with Bass Plus. This code checks HTML audio/video playback state, position, and volume. Temporary state for a player remains in the page’s memory.

A media URL may be compared inside that page to avoid resuming a different track, but it is not sent to the app or developer. The developer does not collect page content, browsing history, or browser audio. Browsers and websites have their own data practices.

3. Settings stored locally

Settings, language, skin, and device profiles are stored locally in the app container. You can change settings or uninstall Bass Plus. macOS may retain local app data until you remove the container yourself. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete support emails you previously sent.

4. Apple purchases and trial activation

Apple processes payments and supplies the app with signed trial or purchase information, such as product identifier, status, and date. The developer does not receive your bank card number. Apple Account and payment information are handled under Apple’s privacy policy.

5. Voluntary diagnostic reports

Copy report does not contain audio recordings. It can include device names and identifiers, processing parameters, settings, and error messages. Review it before sending. Bass Plus does not automatically upload it; you choose whether to send it to support.

6. Support emails and retention

When you email [email protected], we receive your sender address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. We use these to respond and resolve your request. Company email is provided through Microsoft 365; its processing is governed by its applicable terms and privacy policy.

We retain support correspondence for 12 months after the request is closed or our last reply, then delete it from the active support mailbox. You can request earlier deletion. We may retain specific records longer where required by law. Copies in provider backups can remain until those backups expire under the provider’s policies.

7. This website, analytics, and advertising measurement

The website is hosted on CliDeck’s server and delivered through Cloudflare. Hosting and network providers process connection and request metadata, such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser information, and delivery or error logs, to operate and protect the website. Cloudflare Web Analytics may also measure visits and page performance.

The website loads Google Analytics with storage denied by default. If you accept optional measurement cookies, it measures page visits and interactions. Consent mode may send limited cookieless signals while storage is denied; declining cookies does not mean that hosting or network requests stop.

With your consent, the OpenAI Pixel measures Bass Plus page views and clicks to contact support or open the App Store. We send a product identifier, event name, and a random event identifier, not your support message, audio, passwords, or raw contact details. The provider can process browser and attribution information. Our measurement events opt out of future user-level personalization.

Your measurement choice is stored in browser local storage. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change it. The public pages require no CliDeck account. These website practices are separate from the local audio processing in Bass Plus. Provider retention and international processing follow the applicable provider settings and policies; contact us about access or deletion requests.

8. Your choices and permissions

Turn off automatic pause in Bass Plus, or revoke browser control in macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation. Disable JavaScript from Apple Events in the browser menus. System audio access can be revoked in the macOS privacy settings; the section name varies with macOS version. Without the relevant permission, the corresponding function cannot work.

Contact [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent to support. We may need enough information to locate your correspondence and confirm the request concerns your data.

9. Policy updates and contact

We publish policy changes on this page and update the effective date. Please review it when using a new version or visiting this website. For privacy questions, contact CliDeck LLC, Illinois, USA, at [email protected].
